Enable threat, tracking, family, or custom protections per profile. MoonDNS publishes the upstream blocklist sources and licenses used to compile filtering policy.
Unlinked clients still receive normal, unfiltered DNS answers on the public resolver. Filtering applies only when MoonDNS can identify a profile through its DoH path, DoT hostname, assigned setup address, or a linked public IP.
MoonDNS does not sell browsing data or use query history for advertising. The service does process network and account data needed to resolve DNS, operate profiles, prevent abuse, send account email, and monitor reliability.
Raw history is off by default. If you opt in, choose 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days, and export or delete retained history from the dashboard. Read the current beta details before relying on a retention setting.
